I get why that's part of the concept but I don't like it.
What I think would make it amazing is if it was smaller and just on one side of her outer thigh/hip and it has "latched on" like a leech to her skin there, and any clothing that touches it gets dissolved/absorbed by it, which makes it grow bigger.
So she can't wear underwear or other normal clothes, she resorts to wearing a bra and loose shirt and skirt/towel that's cut in just the right way to avoid touching the slime and provides as much modesty as she can, but it barely covers her and she has to hold it strategically to not get exposed and so nothing touches it. This could then lead to fun hijinks of it brushing against her clothes unexpectedly and consuming more and getting bigger, or she accidentally bumps it into other people, or she cant keep herself covered as she does her job, or another slime latches on in a different spot making it even harder to keep covered.

Troublemakers/pranksters > Authority figures > naive/innocent > tsunderes > popular good girls
Then again, it's hard to pick from just personality archetypes as well, feel like I could find some characters in any category that would rank above others in a higher tier personalty rank, and I'm not sure what it is exactly that makes it better. Guess it's more than just personality but the situation itself and their relationship with the person seeing them.
