>>1692454Well, would be a useless attempt if I return to Megumi empty handed. So I decided to head upstairs, and find something to wear.
I crept slowly as the my bare feet feels the cold cement floor. I reached the stairs that leads to the door that Sora came in from. Every step on the wooden stairs creaked and echoed around the whole basement. Eventually, I reached the door, and I slowly took a peek outside. No one, and it seems that its really dark, they'll never see me coming.
I slowly opened the door, and made my way into the room. It seems to be a kitchen. I searched around the room. But I couldn't see anything that'll give me cover, not even an apron. So I slowly made my way to the next room. The next room was the dining room. Same thing as the kitchen, nothing. The next area I'd need to pass was a hallway.
I made sure to look back every second. The windows has let in moonlight, shining on my white hair, and up to my face. If anybody would see me, they'd recognize me the second they see my face.
But then, I heard footsteps in-front of me. I quickly darted back. But then, there was footstep there aswell. How the hell, I thought it was just Hayato who's on this floor. I quickly looked around, and I managed to find a room, I quickly went in it.
There wasn't much inside, just a bed and a dresser, there was a small picture of a girl on in. The girl looked like the same age as me, and had white hair, like me, only her's was shorter. I put down the photo, and pressed my ears near the door to listen if the footsteps were gone. Silence.
I took a peek outside. Nobody. Just as soon as I took every piece of me out of that room, the door shut, and the lights turned on. What, how in the world did the lights come on!? I try to open the door, but not a budge. Suddenly, a voice fills the air.
"Hayato! Did you open the fuse box?"
Up ahead, I saw his figure in the lobby area.
"Nope, but I'll check the fuse box just in case!"
