>>1845590“That’s it? Just a normal battle Arena? I heard it’s very underground” Damn it… six Pokémon. It’s fine, Aria and I can both pool what we have. Just one of us can enter, though.
“Not underground, exclusive. If you’re not known around town the chances of getting in are slim. Being a pretty girl gives you a definitive advantage over males, who usually need to spend a lot of money just to make it past the entrance. For the both of you it should be fine since you are with me.”
“But I asked every trainer I could see. Basically no one knows about it. Exclusive places are supposed to be famous.”
“You asked kids who can barely make it past Green Forest, just losers. This is a place for serious trainers. Some of the people fighting there could very well shame Bstone. Also… some illegal activities do take place. Nothing a participant in the fights should worry about, I assure you.”
“W-what kind of illegal activities?”
“Betting in Pokémon battles is illegal if you are not taking part in them. These people do. That would be about it. Oh, we’re there.”
This is the place? It doesn’t look like any sort of Arena I’ve ever seen, though I guess it qualifies as a club. It more or less looks like a fancy two story restaurant.
“Melody Mustard, right?” Asks Joy, getting off her scooter. We left Aria a bit behind, but she should be here any second. “That is what you trainer ID said, I believe. I’m going ahead to register you, wait here.”
a) Stop her! I changed my mind. The place sounds shady and she hasn’t answered all my questions.
b) Let her go on and register me. I’m ready for this.
c) Stop her. Tell her to enter Aria instead of me. Just one of us can enter and I think she’s the one who should represent the both of us… and take the risks, if any. What? I’ll make it up to her.
d) Write in.
