“You mean I only made it to the semifinals. You know I should’ve won this”.
Instead of acting submissively, Helga is instead taking the initiative and being aggressive.
“Bold words, and why do you think that, Helga?”
“Well, for one thing; two of your semifinalists are downright cheating; using Pokémon that don’t belong to them. You know the ones. The remaining one is abusing the system; playing you all as fools. You’re here to watch our asses, right? You’ll never see hers, she’s just fights with optimized teams that crush us amateurs. You can’t be that blind, you know this is going on, right?”
The public and the announcer began to laugh midway through her speech.
“And what do you think we should do about this, dear?” Asks the announcer in a jokingly way.
“You should disqualify them all! I am the only one playing fair around here, but that can only take you so far.”
“If I am understanding correctly, you want to be declared the winner of today’s Gentleman’s Battle Club tournament, and want us to disqualify the rest of the contestants.”
“If you have any pride that’s what you ought to do! All of them made you look like fools!”
There’s more laughter from the audience. Helga is tearing up in rage. She’s embarrassed, but not in the usual way. She has a point in her ramblings, but she can make the point because she’s too angry to talk sense, so she just looks ridiculous. Ridiculous and naked in front of a full audience, with people pointing and laughing at her. This is what you get, whore.
“Ladies and Gentleman, please settle down” asks the announcer very politely, and the laugher dies out. “Our friend Helga over here might be correct, after all. It would be wrong to make fun of her because her suggestions are a bit extreme… and biased.”
