“Sure, you all say that; but you would have to be there,” I defended my action, not minding Versu. “I had a chair locking the door, Camilla was supposed to arrive later and I needed to go to work. Then someone I wasn’t expecting kicked and opened the door and I didn’t know what to do.”

They said that, but still enjoyed the story a lot. Silvia was absolutely taken about the part of me being behind my house, waiting for the children to close on poor, naked, me. Versu betrayed her dejected teenage girl act by having a giggle attack when I told her what the little boys were saying. Reena could not say a word the whole time and color drained from her face, but I knew she wanted to keep listening.
It was embarrassing to tell my tale, but also liberating. I had not had confident for years and as horrible as it was, that particular experience was the most interesting thing that had happened to me in ages… aside from later in the day or now today.
We arrived to the closest lake. People were fishing there. “No problem, that’s okay,” we figured and went on our merry way. There were tons more of those deeper in the jungle.
The village of Teson was in the most northern part of the country of Japhica, which was basically a big peninsula. The biggest, most powerful nation of the continent was to our north; the Empire of Perindal. Japhica was a vassal nation that paid tribute to The Empire and that was how it had avoided being conquered and annexed unlike many others. Despite being Japhicans; we had basically adopted the Perindal culture and way of dressing and my home village of Yurin was so close to the border it was indistinguishable.
