>>1840266The path leading to Gray is uphill. Also, there’s less and less mud and more solid and dry ground as we progress. Right now that’s actually bad; since that means less squishy surfaces to step on and possibility of having to walk over pebbles and other obstacles. Walking barefoot on the forest is awful.
The climb eventually pays up, as we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel ahead. The sun shining bright without the obstruction of trees; fresh air flowing freely from that direction… it’s so beautiful!
“Come on, Aria; we’re almost there!” I can’t help but say. She nods happily.
We continue through the path; it becomes narrower and narrower as we progress forward. We officially made it through Green Forest! Other than our clothes there were no casualties, so that’s something. We even managed to catch a few Pokémon and still have plenty of supplies. It wasn’t all that bad… it could’ve been worse.
“So you think you’ve made it through Green Forest, have you? Not yet! Anyone coming from that way must face ME first! Prepare to… OH MY GOSH! Where are your clothes??”
A squeaky infantile voice surprises us by coming through the bushes, and out of there pops out yet another bug catcher. I immediately duck and cover myself, so does Aria. I fight the instinct to scream in shame… it’s just a little boy. Come on, Melody; this isn’t super embarrassing, right? Um… actually, this bug catcher is rather tall.
“Why are you weirdos doing walking around in the buck?” The bug catcher asks.
“We’re not doing this because we want to!” Answers Aria. “Now turn around or something, you little pervert!”
“…you people realize that I’m a girl, right?”
