I think the perfect story is the kind that justifies its own fanservice. That way you don't have to go out of your way to add any. Anything that happens makes sense rather than feels forced and just comes at the natural progression of the plot.
>>1831558Agreed. If the idea is to write a script and just hand it to a studio and say "make this" without any unreasonable demands then it shouldn't be that impossible to do. Generating interest in the kickstarter is more important.
Maybe the secret is to make it not so...Japanese. If a bunch of westerners are writing it then may as well take advantage of the situation and write something that the Japanese would be unlikely to produce themselves. Characterization, story, etc.
