>>1284436>>I seriously don't give a fuck. This discussion does not belong on /e/.The picture shows what I'd like possible in the future society when servitude contracts (slavery for a set period of time) are commonplace methods of paying off debt. It's a good idea that is constitutionally legal if there were only some tweaks to existing laws and prior supreme court precedents. So we'd need a conservative court to make new rulings so that things in the picture could once again be legal.
The pro-slavery market discussion is totally relevant to this thread and therefore belongs. Much of the discussion was posted with relevant on-topic images as well. It is the insecure anti-liberal republicans AND NOT the self-confident republicans that are the problem in this thread.
As for history, the republican Abraham Lincoln's party is no where like today's republican party except for the same name. So, people who keep using the reason that they are right simply because they are in the republican party are using a fallacy.
As for those who say they don't give a f*ck, then stop lying and just shut up if you really don't give a f*ck. Anyways, it is clear that the best hopes for a servitude contract market lies with republican and not liberal democrat rule. So that is how I am going to vote because I know I will be one of those that ends up being on top. It's simple self-interest in personal prosperity and a desire for a free market in which I can buy whatever I want.
