There's a reason to use png; it's lossless. If we were using jpg for each edit this image would be such a noisy mess it wouldn't be funny. And don't even try complaining about the filesize! 4chan has a 3 MB limit and I have rarely had problems with that since anime tends to use flat colors and little shading.
There are artifacts because it was a jpg (thanks for adding to that) and I did a sloppy edit except the eyes, those were masked completely so only the original (i.e. yours) eyes are showing.
I used yours to remove artifacts and kept the highlights for personal taste.
