In the distance, Takashi and Saeko kept on making noise to pull the zombies away from the humvee, and wondering why the zombies kept on going to the humvee instead.
So far, zombies can be killed by a lot of damage to the head or more slowly by fire to the entire body. They avoid water, but as for why I do not know since they cannot drown as they are "dead" already. No one in the anime seems to have begun testing to see how long a zombie lives without "eating" or if it can eat something else (plants, animals, each other).
