>>2913361That anon is an idiot but here's my experience with Illustrious vs Pony model variants shortened up.
Good:
>Better prompt following. You don't have to put as much strength on certain prompts just to make sure they exist or don't show up. >Artist accuracy. Way more artists are accurately replicated. 2010s artists are usually updated to their most modern style.>More complex poses and views. Not only are more rare poses viable, but are easier to prompt for and replicate in multiple outfits. >Clothing accuracy and variety. Can understand much more clothing prompts and accurately portray them. Not only that but how the clothes interact with the body or poses. Like putting a hand under a crop top is something you wouldn't really see this done in Pony in most cases.>Better understanding of concepts. Don't need loras to understand certain concepts such as animal ear caressing.>Very flexible and covers many drawing mediums. Not many models recognize marker medium for example. Illustrious does.Bad:
>Poor backgrounds like most XL models that just focus on girls. I hope someone makes a background slider and better backgrounds lora for Illustrious soon.
For SD1.5, I used to juggle between 10 textual inversions, 4 quality loras minimal, 10 VAEs, and 20 models for gens. After Pony XL? All of that was halved. Post Illustrious? I use 0-2 VAEs, 0-2 textual inversions, 0 general quality loras, and bounce between 5 models every few days.
