> pic relatedI'm still waiting for a proper entry in the series, something taking place after Fusion. The story is there, it just needs to be built. Samus is a fugitive; the Federation wants her, dead or alive. That can be a story element. While they're at it, they can take the series into new, uncharted territory, continuing the genre-blending Metroid is kind of known for. I mean, shit, I wouldn't mind some jump scares and creepiness in my Metroid.
It's wishful thinking by this point, though.
