She had barely cleared the doorstep of her apartment before she saw a disturbance. A hapless man was trying to get on the bus downtown, but the bus driver wasn’t allowing him on. Ami could hear the shouting match from here. She did note that the would-be passenger wasn’t looking his best though, in fact if you looked up “homeless” in the dictionary his picture would be there. Coincidentally if you looked up “stereotyper” Karma Girl would be located there.
Despite his looks, she figured he couldn’t be that bad. He was just trying to get from point A to point B in an environmentally safe and responsible manner. Surely she could spend a minute or two to help him out. It wasn’t very likely that the citywide disaster would occur immediately.
