For the game itself, for those who don't know, it's basically a bunch of schoolgirl shinobi who's different schools fight each other for various reasons. The original game is available on the 3DS as Senran Kagura Burst. However, this game is a lot more heavy on the fanservice themes (as in, you can completely obliterate your opponent's clothing, whereas in Burst it's only shredded a lot).
I'd definitely recommend the games. The fanservice is nice and the story is MUCH better than you would expect for a fanservice anime game. It's also pretty fun to play as a game, and you don't *really* need to know the story to be able to play them (this is for the Vita game only, which is region free and is only out in Japan at the moment).
