Imagine how many classic movies would be foiled if they merely had a cell phone. Hollywood continues it to this day. Next time you watch a movie, count how many times you see someone (a main or relevant character) use a smart phone for literally anything. If they use it, you might notice it's only a plot point to show it can't be used (separation), such as many horror films use the "No Signal" scene.
