>>2287515>You could always make it so ENF happens at certain points no matter the outcome. That's only slightly better than having to sabotage own performance.
>Lucia's Script does this at points. If she lost, she was forced to strip naked in front of a bunch of people in a dark scene. On the other hand, if she won, the enemy did final attack in their dying gasp that ripped her clothes off, which was much more comical.Unfortunately I have not played that game. From quick googling it looks like one of those out of control hardcore XXX cum inflation romps. Is there enough mild content that fits our theme here? I agree though, a sudden ENF as a plot twist is a solid idea.
>Personally, I don't mind losing for scenes, it makes sense for the girl to have bad things happen to her if she does bad things like lose a fight. You are technically taking her role in the story, after all.You are right, but in a game like this "bad thing" is what players want to work towards. The excitement is gone if all you have to do to get to a steamy orgy scene of elvish archer with a band orcs is to stand there and pick your nose. Or like, I don't know, if you find the first slime monster and surrender to it, because slimes are just too sexy.
In my opinion, what works better is a scenario that involves defeating bands of orcs first, finding some intel and unsuccessfully infiltrating their camp that gets you a scene that approaches bad end before heroine is saved by some sort of ass-pull allied reinforcement. Or, for example, a researcher sends heroine to bring some kind of thing from slime infested region, which turns out to be a slime aphrodisiac and of course an urgent experiment needs to be conducted that only heroine can assist with for a lump sum of cash. I feel like this is how games should handle it. You have to win a fight, and that gets you to the good part.
