Waay back in 2005, the 1680 x 1050 was popular, but now, so many are lower-res than that. My older Dell laptop has a _native_ resolution of 1920, but it seems almost impossible nowadays to find a non-Dell new laptop with that kind of resolution. Sometimes, 1920 on my desktop feels small, so I am already wondering when the 2560 monitors will drop in price....
