Instead of losing HP through card combat, the girl loses a piece of clothing when she lands on a red space with a striking symbol on it. Blue spaces with a coin get you money. The green bag spaces let you buy items (which can restore clothes and probably have other useful effects that I didn't bother reading). You auto-stop on skull and heart spaces. If she gets to a skull space with too many pieces of clothing missing, it leads to a scene and a game over. Not sure what the heart symbol spaces do, as the trial ended when I got to the first one.
