and getting into the high 60's/low 70's isn't super uncommon during winter here, but neither is getting down to -20~30f with windchill. Pretty sure we can also occasionally get snow as late as april and getting it in march isn't really surprising at all.
this hitting high 80's in october bullshit is pretty one-off, though.
