>>1456592being realistic I could never recomend any sort of art degree for somebody looking for a stable career for the future.
You're young, as am I. young people of this generation need a degree in a practical discipline - maths, sciences, business. While none of it may be fun, you really do need to buckle in and do it. Doing what you enjoy must be secondary, and will happen later in life - 30-40 is when you should focus on that.
Who knows, maybe you will come to enjoy Maths? I found I enjoy geometry-centric math, personally.
In short,

The art I do isn't snazzy and colorful; but when I draw for leisure..To draw as I do now, it took me 3 years of regular practice and doodling around during school and late at night. As I played FF11, Ragnarok and WoW I'd have a sketch to my side that I'd work at between dungeons or as parties formed.
Don't stress over it. Math and Sciences are more fun than you'd think - and you'll end up enjoying anything you do, if you apply yourself.
Here, enjoy these pantsu ^~
