Sure sdxl in general doesn't do great backgrounds but to avoid using a better model with more poses, better prompt adherence, more innate knowledge on characters and subjects because of backgrounds is wild to me. If you want AI to just do scenery stuff sure but you can take a wide swathe of most popular nip artists and artists in general nobody bothers with backgrounds beyond minimalism which is reflected in the gens.
