I have a question about these threads; do the people who request art usually expect the artist to match the style of the art being requested? Or is the outcome just suitable as long as it's 'anime' enough and not too 'western'-looking?
For instance, if you asked for "Monkey D. Luffy exclaiming in adoration for his soon-to-be dead brother", would you be disappointed if you got this:
