I took the liberty of very sneakily hiding a picture of one in this image. See if you can spot it.
It was labelled 'Ashiya.' Going to go out on a limb and say that that's probably the name of this specific cultivar because there's *a lot* of varieties of camellia.
In any case, camellia japonica bloom between January and March I am told and are sometimes referred to as the roses of winter but considering that we started this bread in Febuary, I'd say we're in the clear.
Not that I don't love that image either way.
