>>2927240I've had a few in my head that I've just failed to really follow through on for a while - usually because there's some plot point I can't resolve or I start outlining and realize there's not as much substance as I had hoped for.
One involves a woman moving to a rural Japanese village to take over her sick grandmother's job as a shrine maiden. She struggles to adapt to the slower pace of life there until she starts getting mysterious letters asking her to do specific lewd things in public. She assumes they're a prank at first but starts to go along with it anyway, slowly escalating to more and more exposure as she assumes that the blackmailer will slip up and reveal himself if she keeps doing what he demands.
Of course, the reality is that she's not actually being blackmailed at all and there doesn't seem to be any punishment for simply ignoring the letters. She's just streaking around town at night for the love of exhibitionism.
Another story is about a college girl in an exclusive student organization/social club. But this club has a tradition of doing annual naked mile runs and she's too reserved to actually do the nude run. So she creates a schedule for herself to 'practice' being naked in public - doing more and more lewd things each night to prepare for the big streak through campus. In the process, she ends up learning that there are a bunch of other women who are also nervous about being naked in public, so she shares her 'schedule' with them and they create a sort of after-school exhibitionism club where they learn to accept being seen by others in the nude.
It kind of had this whole 'embarrassing things are only embarrassing if you're the only one doing them' vibe to it where by the end, the mob of naked women were all extremely comfortable as they made their way through campus and she gets a bunch of permanent friends only for the reveal to be that this was the exact intention of the naked run tradition in the first place.
