I saw a model with a bone to control edges. Normally, camera distance from center bone determines edge width, but this was a movable bone. How do you change which bone it uses?
What makes it so some materials don't cast a ground shadow or zplot? Is it something related to edge color?
Related, why do some materials still cast ground and zplot shadows when they are fully transparent from a morph, while others stop casting a shadow at 30% material transparency and others at 0% transparency? For example, Yamakaze micro bikini 山風マイクロビキニ has a distended stomach ("pregnant") morph, that is by default invisible but still casts shadows unless you turn the display morph to -0.7. With other models, the invisible materials always cast shadows regardless of the display morph's value. How would a modeler fix this?
