Mysteryss
Its been a few weeks since a mysterious masked woman made her first public appearance. Her modus operandi is the same. During an ordinary event or at an uneventful location, a woman calling herself Mysteryss emerges from the crowd to music and fanfare. The times and locations appear random. The only hint that she'll show up are from a few ominous fliers and internet postings that say only "Mysteryss" and give no information other than a general time and place.
Nobody knows for sure what her motives are but she has become a counterculture icon and her appearances are generating more and more attention. At any moment, at any place, music will start to play, sirens wail, and someone wearing ordinary clothes will jump out from the crowd and after shedding them reveal herself as Mysteryss, left wearing revealing outfits and her trademark mask. She sings, dances, and if the crowd shows enough support and enough people are converted to her growing stable of followers, she strips.
A small group of wannabe sleuths at a local school decide to take it upon themselves to solve the mystery of Mysteryss and figure out what she wants and who she is. As they press with their investigation, Mysteryss's events become increasingly large and disruptive. Her cult of personality is growing as more and more people follow her example and hope to be part of her next show. Suddenly the entire city is in the grip of Mysteryss fever. It just might be that Mysteryss's intentions go beyond hosting spontaneous wild parties as the city grinds to a halt whenever she appears.
The students, though, are having their own problems. Every step brings more questions and the answers might hit close to home. Is Mysteryss a classmate? A teacher? A family member? A famous actress? Or maybe even one of them? Mistrust and betrayal follow as each of the gang become increasingly hostile to each other and begin to doubt whether they want to know the answers they set out to uncover.
