The issue with working on a model from scratch for almost 20 months and counting, while also being a first timer, is that some areas of the model are extremely refined while other areas are still a bit... crusty or janky lol, especially the technical side of things like bones and physics. Overall for me, looking through my model is almost like looking at the rings inside of a tree... which is an interesting feeling for me, maybe even melancholy. But I digress; I've debated doing this for a few months now, but maybe I should just completely redo the ponytail? Meshes, bones, physics, all of it. A hard decision to make especially due to how long I've been working on her. Or maybe just do updates/tweaks overtime, who knows.
One thing that would REALLY help is that if people can't assist with my physics issue, then perhaps someone may know of another model with a ponytail I could reference physics from? A ponytail thats as close as possible to Mio's, regarding looks and style. My endgoal is to have a model that not only looks good, but one that has great physics too... I don't mind scrapping things I've done in the past as long as its a chance for me to improve her.
>>2367540>400 morphs? holy...lol yup! Of course theres also a shitload of hidden ones too (for group morphs) so if you dont take those into account, its over 350 morphs. This actually relates to what I said before about giving myself problems... MMD apparently has a display panel limit of 255 morphs or something, meaning theres over 100 morphs that I cannot have listed within the display panel and its a real pain lol.
>please let me know what the end result isIf I ever find a solution (or redo it in a better way) I'll be sure to show that in this thread or a future thread. That being said shes actually available to DL in case you, or someone else, wants to poke at her in PMX Editor or w/e. Here's a link:
