B could also lead to Tilly helping, as she is inclined to believe that Vera is in need of help already. Body language definitely implies a girl who needs something to cover up with.
This all said, votes for Tilly being Teasing/Concerned were down to the wire, concerned barely winning. I think I might have that apparent in the character at some point, that although she is concerned, she isn't incapable of being turned to teasing too.
