At one point, you need heat protection, and it seems like you have to either buy it (it's be unrealistically expensive) or you have to give up some of the protection magic (at least I think so, the translation is rough). I savescummed the roulette game in the casino until I could just buy the thing. (It takes a long time since you can only get 1000 gold per transaction).
However, some things seem to be required to progress. Like bringing up her exposure tolerance before she can wear the micro bikini. I'm fine with the bikini, but it makes me wonder what else would be required to progress in the game.
