I've had a few models with issues that would crash when loading, but not during motion playback. There are no errors in PMX Info; I suspect the problem is with physics. The model used to have two extra strands of hair that were a bit glitchy, and MMD would crash after about 200 frames with every motion. Removing the hair and the rigids seemed to fix the problem, motions would play the whole way through without crashing, but, if I loaded three instances of the model (for a 3 part motion) it crashes.
I'm guessing the crashes are caused by these tassels, which occasionally stretch and then snap back to the correct location. The joints on the tassels have 0 slide and movement, so I'm not sure why they stretch, they should just rotate. I already simplified them to use fewer bones and rigid bodies and that didn't make a difference.
