>>2832989those edits are pretty nice, while some of them are more noticeable than others but it's nothing that looks bad or sticks out negatively in my opinion. i'm sure you could probably adjust the style with a few tags and stuff like that in cases like these
this stuff is totally doable on local if the resolution isn't too high and the og arstyle isn't too crazy, but the images i edited for the anon i replied to initially were pretty big which is why i said what i said
and i keep mentioning resolution because often artists will draw at a much higher res and then post images that are downsized to some degree, which means you're already working with less pixels and that comes with less details, if you go and lower that even further for inpainting it'll stick out for sure. that of course might be irrelevant depending on what exactly you're trying to edit/add/remove
i've done edits on local too and while doing it for myself i'll be more lenient with slight style mismatches but if i'm trying to do a request i'll be more anal about it, but that's just me. i also trust v3 more to stick to the style and recognize/fix errors than i trust myself
>on another note, i dont think there is really any need for all that hostility, i see here and on other board, between local and cloud.lol, while i see why some people would completely ditch local in favor of v3 i never understood that kind of tribal mentality, but then i feel like aside from a few loud people the majority just doesn't care, personally i just stopped looking at the threads for a while until the shitposting quieted down
when v3 came out i thought it was amazing and once i got my hands on it i've been amazed even more, yet it never killed my desire to use 1.5. the only thing that's killing my desire to gen is my hardware. to me these are just various tools that i enjoy using
