>Handy Art Reference ToolOnce i have a gen where i like whats going on besides the hands I pop open the hand program. Get the pose and camera angle i want and get a transparent png oputput. Bring that into a photo editor. I use GIMP but any program should work. Then resize and make the new hands match as best as you can. Try to color match and do some manual painting.
After that do a low image to image or inpaint mask step to make it match further.
Lastly i do some grainy film affect to tie it all together. It helps mask everything slightly and gives it some cohesion.
Im still working out the kinks and trying to get it all to match better. I think the revy one was the best one as far as comping in the hand and gun went
