The best exposure is almost always that caused by pure chance, possibly assisted by her own carelessness/overconfidence/etc. If anyone else is in any way responsible, it should be limited to voyeurism or possibly sabotage (which is itself best when indirect and unintentional or at most semi-intentional).
The subject herself should either completely fail to notice or recognize her own impending exposure and walk blithely right into it, or else realize the risk too late and experience growing dread as she tries her best to avoid exposing herself. It's also possible to combine the two by adding a second character who panics over her oblivious friend's imminent exposure. Needless to say, I've worked all of these aspects into my stories to varying degrees.
