>>1285701Technically 16, the anime began 14 years ago, in 96, but the series officially began in 94 with the manga. I would say that anything that's at least over 12 or so can be considered oldschool. Of course, truly old school would stuff like the original Gundam and Cyborg 009, series that were around as early as the 70's (though Cyborg 009 was like 60 something if I'm not mistaken).
