Hydrus can use the Public Tag Repo. And if someone has downloaded the image/video and uploaded to PTR, and if you use the PTR and import or download the image, it would map the existing tags in PTR to your image locally.
The Plex thing is completely local. They do not interact in any way, shape or form.
Man, at some point I wanted to go through all videos, extract audio fingerprint them. And after that, create collections.

I could probably automate everything there is out there and scrape it, but my motivation is dropping week by week.
