Been trying out character reference recently thinking Halloween is the perfect use-test for it. I'm really impressed with how precise the style keeps with all the different costumes and stuff without forcing background color themes or poses based on the actual "character" image, like vibe transfer does. There's some leakage from the original image, but a it's pretty easily and consistently fixable.
