Since both teams made it to the knockouts they don't have to worry about staying elite anymore, but this first match will determine who gets to be in the top 8 rankings and thus in pot 1 for next cup's group draw. (also the rest of the tournament but who cares about that)
Fun fact: neither team has won an elite knockout match before. /e/ lost their only knockout match against /tg/ in Winter '15 and it seems /vp/ has never even been in an elite knockout. So whichever way it swings will be a first
