It's set on a college campus. The beginning scene is a coed named Hadako walking back to her dorm room from the showers when she runs into some dormmates who note that it's Hadako's birthday. They get it in their heads that Hadako ought to spend the rest of it in her birthday suit (and prohibit her from all else until midnight), take her towel and things and urge her on her way...out the nearest door outside.
The idea is that she has to spend (the rest of) her birthday in her birthday suit. Trying to find a way back in, or find something to wear. Whether through accident or design she can't get her hands on anything (until midnight?). I don't know how it'd end... surprise party? Stuff like that. Right now I'm thinking it could all take place in the evening.
I think one of the inspirations for this comes from doujin by people like Valssu or Keisuke Kawara where a girl loses her clothes out the window or off the roof of the school building. Naked for the entire trek back down to ground level and outside to wherever their clothes fell.
That sort of situation (which now that I think about it, already happened in Skinny Dip...) can only keep momentum so long. Those situations in those doujin last like 10 pages. Would make for a really short story. But perhaps that's okay.
...and now you know why I keep writing other stuff instead.
