>>2544310You can't just paint one flat skin color on a Multiply layer over grayscale, it just ends up looking dull and rather deathly. You need to add some saturation to those shadow shapes.
Here, I've just used the fill tool on an overlay layer that recolors the grayscale shadows what I want. You can just find a color that's close enough, then use Hue-Chroma or something similar to nudge the whole layer's color exactly where you need it. What I've done so far is pretty rough, but I hope you get the idea.
And remember: Skin is never one hue!
