>>2406551redrawing is more tedious, but it isn't too difficult. for reference, I have only drawn stick figures on paper before this so if you have any experience in art you could do a much better job. to start off, you'll want to use the pen tool again to trace your character's body through their clothes. once you're done with that, select your brush tool and change the size to 1 or 2 pixels and a hardness of around 50-80% or so. choose a dark colour that matches the colour of the outlines in the original picture. create a new layer above your original so you don't mess up the original. then go back to your pen tool, right click the path you created and choose "stroke path". in the drop down box, choose the brush tool. you can turn on "simulate pressure" if you want but i usually leave it off as the effect it produces is kinda extreme.
you shouldn't really simulate pressure for the outline, but i use it sometimes when drawing lines that taper off like the thighs/breasts etc. you can simulate that effect manually with more control by just using an eraser which i'll talk about later.
once you click OK you should see an outline visible. create a new layer (generally i create a new layer for everything i do, that way you have backups in case you want to redo something) and start colouring inside the outline you made. i usually just use the colour picker tool to sample the skin colour that's already there. once you're done colouring, the next step is to add more details.
