Like he would start out only being able to undo a single button or clasp on a single piece of clothing, but by the end of the story (a hundred or so chapters later) he ends up being able to strip girls completely naked whenever he wants. Could even make it to where the rate of development for his ability is exclusive to every girl he does it too, so while he may be at a point with the main heroine where he's allowed to steal her panties whenever he wants, if he wanted to use his powers on a different girl, he would have to start completely over with her at only being able to undo a single button.
"Kink Development Kit" on Chyoa is the closest long running story I have read to something like this. Although, I have read countless other stories that started with very similar concepts to what I just described, but the authors always quit before it ever really goes anywhere.
I've been working on an original story like this off and on a little bit at a time for a couple years now. I've got a rock solid concept for it and have fleshed out pretty much all the characters at this point, I just haven't been able to work out a plot that I feel confident in yet. I posted a now deleted thrown together introduction for it on chyoa around a year ago, and it got a good reception. My inner perfectionist refuses to let me just go with anything and throw it out there for the world to see. However, I am confident that once I do have a good grasp on where I'm going with the plot, I'll probably not be able to stop writing on it until it's finished.
