I learned that the regions of the brain associated with feet and genitalia are very closely positioned and that some people do actually have some neurological cross-wiring of those structures. As I said, this started when I was about 20 years old. Considering that the brain is mature at about 24 years old for men, I wonder if it was not part of the neuronal structuring and development that was taking place at that time. I was also taking drugs at the time which cause an increase in dendritic outgrowth and increase the expression of neurotrophic hormones in the brain. Its interesting.
