Requesting someone try cleaning up the scanning artifacts and the dirt, particularly the dirt on Asuka's breast and arm, the bit on Rei's right arm, and the brown fading on Rei's collarbone. There's some scan lines running down the left side of the image that are also pretty noticeable.
I ran this through Waifu2x and it actually reduced a fair amount of the artifacts, but you have to zoom in to notice. Compare to the original scan:
