Alice decided she had to be bold, and finish strong. Besides... the red-labeled path was the shortest one. One could imagine her surprise when the track opened up in front of her and gave way to a pitfall.
"W-...what the...!?" She only had time to exclaim a panicked yell mixed with a curse as she tumbled into the opening where the track had collapsed.
"Great, she's perfect!" As Alice pushed herself up with a pained grumble, she heard... applause coming from above? Not long after, a rope was tossed down, giving her a means of climbing up.
"Sorry about that, we have to test your wits and your willpower, ya know?" Alex was all smiles while nonchalantly handing Alice a hand towel. "Far as I'm concerned, you're perfect! We start filming next week. You can go see the intern for the deets. See ya then!"
"W-wait, what about... why did-...now hold on just one-!" Alice's requests for information were either ignored or unnoticed as the woman walked off, already chattering away on a flip phone.
"Sorry about that, you did great though!" A younger man, if even an adult, approached, and apologetically handed Alice a folded envelope. "That's the address, date, time, etc. You might want to bring some other belongings in case you have to stay over. Doesn't hurt to be prepared... So, uh, yeah. Good luck!"
And then, the man was gone too. Alice sighed, and opened the envelope, reading over the vague details, just as cryptic as the intern had been. Painfully so. It was a bit further away... at least an hour's drive. But it would be worth it... right?
She went home, and decided to start preparing for the trip.
[This ends the 'prologue' portion, so in the interim, offer suggestions as to what Alice should bring along, belonging-wise... if anything. She doesn't know anymore about what to expect than you do.]
