Speaking for experience; check your weight at the same time every day for more accurate readings; for instance I am two pounds heavier every evening than waking up and if I used those readings to think I gained or lost weight out of nothing it'd be a mistake. Good to know you found something that worked for cravings; may even try it out sometime.
Not a gymbro anymore, though. Covid went and fucking killed that; still pissed the fuck off about it. Got my pullup bar, made myself some dumbells, some resistance bands and a few other gimmicks found online some of which didn't work at all; but gains dropped all the same. My diet is fat-based with plenty of protein; usually no carbs but neighbors and family keep gifting me food and can't let it go to waste. Man, they love their carbs. I indulge because hey, I'm not getting a six-pack at my age anyway. Best way I found to defeat cravings was simply not having the stuff at home. No temptation no problem. No craving has been strong enough so far to convince me to take a trip to the store yet.
