Learn how to iqdb. It's built into 4chan now.
Two ways to do it: (Well, three)
1, old-fashioned way:
-Open the image in it's own tab.
-Copy the URL (
http://i.4cdn.org/e/...).
-Go to
iqdb.org.
-Plug in the URL
-Find the picture that matches your's.
-Check the booru tags for source.
-Most boorus colour-code source material, artist, and character tags making this easier.
2, the built-into 4chan way:
-Find the picture you want to sauce
-Click the Right-facing arrow after the post number.
-Select Image Search.
-Select iqdb
-Find your picture
-Find your tag.
3, the laziest way:
-Right click.
-Google image search.
Posters can alleviate some of the saucemongering by saving their gifs with filenames to include the source material, or writing the source in the accompanying text.
