Been downloading MMD models since 2017 and only now does it take some 35GB. A lot of it included scouring through all 2k (or was it 5k?) or so pages on bowlroll when it had the old layout. I remember downloading anything that had 1k+ DLs since those were likely to be some old models.
But for the sake of silly argument lets assume there is 35GB worth of new models released every 2 years on MMD. MMD was released in 2008 so that would amount to approx 210GB of models.
A typical Samsung EVO 1TB SSD will set you back £120 ($153) at best. That's already over 4 times the space needed to store all that could've possibly been released up until now.
So no... I'm fairly sure there is some crazy unit out there who dropped some humble $500 for all the storage devices he could possibly need and made their life mission to preserve all the MMD models there are, even edits if they feel suicidal enough.
