Pic for the concerned anon in last thread. Note that "hits" are not generated only by page views. In fact, one page view generally results in multiple hits to different resources within the website. For example, when a visitor calls up a web page with 2 images, that is 3 hits.
In other news, I was given no choice but to move to a dedicated server, so I have now purchased one and will be moving to it within the next few days, most likely. It's a good starter server with a fairly decent amount of storage space, and truly UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH!! Whee!
No seriously, I drilled the guy on the bandwidth thing. I'd be allowed to use 100TB per month if it were even possible for my site to do that. I'm switching hosts because the one kicking me out was way too expensive for real servers. I got this one at less than half the cost.
