>>1448909It's a fine line about what I select. I try to run along the inside(meaning closest to the color of the area I am changing) of the darkest part of the line. I should also add that I usually stay between 1700%, and 3200% when using the polygonal lasso tool, and that I usually select everything, and do not deselect black lines inside the area. Skin first, then hair, then, etc. The areas around eyes(and other light, or soft lines) are a little different. I usually get as close as I can, and then run around it with a soft brush on the mask itself to make it look like as close to the original as I can.
I marked the area that made me think you used the Wand tool, but I guess that it could be done with refine edge(which I never use for this). Refine edge is better used in photography, not drawings. Just my opinion.
