I I think that, not being too generous right away is a good thing, simply because newcomers (like me) doesn't know much about the game, and thus, would waste all those resources (upgrade/unlock mats) on the wrong thing.
As it stand right now, they are quite generous with mats as long as you play often/go deeper in some festival/mission, so in a way, you unlock them when you are already a bit familiar with the game.
I do agree with the FP bottle though, as for now, I need to buy them everytime I see them, and even then, I have only 8 right now (and this by optimizing owner level refill etc...)
My biggest grip is the fact that some events are too short, and that the beginning of the game feel so overwhelming, you have so much currencies, so many items/menu/data and you really need to make a lot of effort (or communicate with the community) to know what is X or Y and why, and this, even though they bring some guide/help page.

If you have that many FP bottles, either you got some events that was throwing them away for free like candies, or, you rarely grind the festival to empty the shop.
